How to connect VM Application to the Hossted Platform

Hossted Platform is an essential feature for Hossted users, providing real-time information about their machine’s health and status.

After deploying the Hossted VM application from the AWS Marketplace or Azure Marketplace and logging into your machine using SSH, follow the steps below:

Sign up / Sign in the Hossted Platform.
Run the following command into CLI:

hossted activate -t compose

You will be provided with a verification link and verification code. Follow the link and enter the code into a designated field > get back to the CLI > choose the “Yes” in the next CLI question.
Wait till the installation process is complete and get back to the Hossted Platform.

Once you have gone through the steps above, you can easily manage any open-source application, giving you complete control over all your environments and getting up-to-date application’s status, security scans, configure settings and so on.
